- Postdoctoral Associate, Duke University
I am a Research Associate in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University, North Carolina. I moved to the USA after completing a PhD in Linguistics at the University of York, UK.
My research interests are focused on early infant vocal development, specifically on the transition from babble to words. I am interested in how words are learned and how we can predict an infant's developmental trajectory from both universal and environmental cues. I bring together perspectives from both perception (what infants hear) and production (the sounds infants produce) to consider early language learning as holistically as possible.
