Catalina A. Musrri

Catalina is a researcher at the University of Sydney who recently completed her PhD in seaweed forest restoration in the context of climate change. Cata studied Marine Biology in Chile, where she developed research on marine ecology. She is interested in the impacts of climate change and other anthropogenic activities (e.g., pollution, overfishing) on coastal habitats. She is currently working on a biobanking project focused on preserving seaweed forest genetic diversity in a context of widespread declines and to prevent irreversible losses.
