As Director of Research at Bravehearts, Carol Ronken is active in research, policy and legislative development that aims to respond to and reduce child sexual abuse and exploitation. She is also an Industry Fellow in the Centre of Justice, Queensland University of Technology and an Affiliate at Monash University, through the AI for Law Enforcement and Community Safety lab.
Carol is a member of several working groups, including the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation Research Working Group, the Australian Child Rights Taskforce, and the Safer AI for Children Coalition led by ICMEC Australia. She has a BA (Psych) and a Masters in Applied Social Research.
