I am a political economist with a PhD in Political Economy from the University of Otago. My doctoral research examined sovereign debt and default from a Post-Keynesian perspective, focusing on Argentina’s political and economic crises.

My research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Etnofoor and Natural Hazards, with ongoing work under review at the Journal of Refugee Studies. I have held academic positions at City, University of London and Durham University. My recently published book, Populism and Modern Monetary Theory: Exploring the Rise of Milei in Argentina, has been published by Routledge, further consolidating my expertise on Argentine political economy, debt, and populism. My broader scholarly interests include sovereign debt, refugee economies, and the intersection of economic reform and human rights.
