Caitlin Crawford is an animal welfare researcher with a passion for One Welfare and the intersection of human, animal, and environmental wellbeing. She is an Industry Fellow at the University of Queensland and holds an MSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Queen’s University Belfast, along with a BSc in Biological Sciences from Edinburgh Napier University. As a Social Science Research Officer at the Australian Pet Welfare Foundation, Caitlin explores the human impacts of cat management strategies, merging research with practical solutions to improve the lives of both animals and the people who care for them. With hands-on experience in animal care, she has worked as a groom, volunteered as a wildlife driver for the Scottish SPCA, and contributed to free cat sterilisation programs in Australia, all of which align with her commitment to supporting community and animal welfare.
