I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London. My current research examines people's capacity to understand and mentally represent the minds of others - particularly out-group members - and what can be done to restore that capacity when it breaks down. This project, funded by the John Templeton Foundation, is supervised by Dr Caroline Catmur (King's College London) and Professor Geoff Bird (University of Oxford).

Prior to this, my doctoral research (supervised by Professor Carolyn McGettigan, UCL) investigated how people represent the self, and focused particularly on the importance of one's own voice to who we are as individuals. As part of this, I examined the roles of one's sense of ownership, sense of agency, and of self-bias in the processing of our own voice.
