Brooke Harris Garad

I am a teacher-researcher with national and international experience working in PK-12 school settings and community-based child and youth development programs. I am passionate about collaborative scholarship, community and family engagement, and issues of equity and inclusion in education. I am also a lifelong learner motivated by one of my favorite Maya Angelou quotes: "When you learn, teach, when you get, give." I enjoy walking, gardening, reading, and eating spicy vegetarian food. I speak French and I am currently studying Spanish.
