Brittany Hogben

Brittany is a PhD candidate researching illegal logging and sustainable timber alternatives, with a background in conservation biology and population genetics. She graduated from the University of Adelaide with honours in evolution and palaeobiology, then spent the following years working as a laboratory technician at the Advanced DNA Identification and Forensic Facility. During this time, Brittany focused on developing molecular methods to identify the species and origin of timber products.
