Dr Bricklyn Priebe is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Law and Society at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

She is a criminologist whose research focuses on the prevention of child sexual abuse and responses to abuse perpetrated by women and girls in Australia. She completed her PhD examining gender-responsive treatment for women convicted of child sexual abuse, with particular attention to treatment needs, program design, and system-level barriers across correctional and community-based responses. Her work seeks to strengthen early intervention and prevention pathways, and to improve the coherence of responses across prevention, justice, and service systems.

Bricklyn's broader research interests include child sexual abuse prevention and safeguarding in Early Childhood Education and Care settings, and the development of practical, evidence-informed strategies to enhance child safety within institutional contexts.
