Brenainn Simpson

I completed a Masters degree by research in 2017 where I began my academic journal studying how magma works. After graduating I became employed at the Geological Survey of New South Wales where I have a research role responsible for generating new knowledge of the states geology, and am currently employed in the role Senior Geoscientist (Mineral Systems). In 2021 I enrolled in the PhD program at The University of Queensland investigating a rare metal enriched volcano in NSW which was both relevant to my role as a government geologist and presented the opportunity to contribute new knowledge to our understanding of magmatic processes. I am continuing that research part time whilst working full time on other projects in NSW.
