Dr. Brae Anne McArthur is a Clinical Psychologist, an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary, and Director of the Trailblazing Research for Equitable Care Lab. Dr. McArthur’s research focuses on understanding the individual and family-level risk and resiliency factors that influence child and youth mental health and well-being. Dr. McArthur applies positive psychology to examine how young people develop psychological strengths that enhance wellness and resilience. Currently, she is involved in evaluating treatment outcomes for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth seeking mental health services and assessing broad community-based interventions designed to support child development and mental health.
