Dr Sabrina Boulet is from Rhône Alpes region, France, where she graduated with a licence in Biology in Grenoble and a master’s degree in Neurosciences in Lyon. Sabrina obtained her PhD from the ‘Dynamique des Réseaux Neuronaux’ laboratory under the supervision of Dr M. Savasta in 2006. In the MIRCen lab, Paris, Sabrina evaluated the therapeutic effect of Prosavin®, a lentiviral vector allowing production of dopamine in Parkinson’s disease (PD) model. Sabrina is currently University Professor at the Grenoble Alpes University and is the principal investigator of a clinical project aiming at validating a blood biomarker for an early detection of PD and a preclinical one deciphering the role of pyruvate dehydrogenase in PD physiopathology.
