Benny Zuse Rousso

Benny (PhD, MPhil, and BEng) is currently research fellow at the International WaterCentre. He has a sanitary and environmental engineer background, and has experience as engineer, researcher, and lecturer.

Benny has joint expertise in water, sanitation, modelling, and ecology. He has worked across multiple dimensions of these disciplines, including research projects of nature-based, low-cost wastewater treatment technologies to management of harmful algal blooms, WASH in informal urban settlements, water quality and hydraulics using IoT and data-driven modelling solutions.

Benny is interested in applied research with impact, with several of his projects tied to water utilities, international organisations (eg WHO), government agencies and research institutions from Australia, South America, Europe and the Pacific.
