Benjamin Roberts

I have spent over twenty years researching Neolithic-Bronze Age communities from Britain to the Balkans. I have published extensively on early metallurgy and metal objects across Europe and beyond. I am currently investigating the transmission of new ideas, objects and technologies across Europe and Asia c. 5000-500 BC. Prior to joining the Department of Archaeology at Durham University, I was the Curator for the European Bronze Age collections in the British Museum.
