- Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Marine Ecology, University of Exeter
I am a marine ecologist with a broad range of experience from working in tropical and temperate environments. Through my PhD I have developed expertise in temperate benthic community ecology and have a particular interest in developing fieldwork techniques using SCUBA and working from vessels. In my current position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Exeter, I am investigating how protection of the seabed from human disturbance (for example, bottom trawling) impacts seabed carbon storage and associated ecological communities. This project is in collaboration with Blue Marine Foundation and funded by the Convex Seascape Survey.
