Ben JJ Walker

I am an ecologist and evolutionary biologist with interests in biology, ecology, evolution, and statistics. I conduct research on diverse systems including environmental impacts from human activity (mining, anthropogenic noise pollution, management actions), effects of climate systems on cetacean movement and behaviour, and the evolution and ecology of vertebrate communication systems (chemical and acoustic).

My research focuses on the intersections of evolution, ecology, animal behaviour (communication and movement), and species traits - in the context of human activity and impacts.
