Belinda Borell

I am Ngati Ranginui, Ngai Te Rangi and Whakatōhea. I am a Maori researcher with expertise in understanding racism as a social determinant of health. I have a broad public health and social science background. I am particularly interested in how structural privilege works to maintain and entrench inequities. I am currently looking at how government data can be utilised to examine the ways trauma, and privilege, may be passed through generations.
