Beatriz Antonieta Moya Figueroa

Beatriz Moya Figueroa holds a Ph.D. in Educational Research with a specialization in Policy, Leadership and Governance from the University of Calgary (Canada). She also holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the Universidad Católica de Temuco. Her scholarly work focuses on the intersection of academic integrity, educational leadership, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).

Her research examines how university leaders can foster cultures of academic integrity through institutional policies and interdisciplinary frameworks adapted to local contexts. Another key area of her work is the ethical integration of artificial intelligence in higher education, particularly in teaching, learning, and assessment.
