My research interest is to develop solutions based on signal processing, information theory, and machine learning for problems involving audio, video, and biomedicine.
Examples of topics that I have worked on recently are (in random order): distributed processing, blind source separation, spatial audio, entropy estimation, robust source coding for packet networks, single and multi-channel speech enhancement, video enhancement, camera control for multiview video, auditory modeling, audio and video coding, model estimation, and algorithms that predict perceived signal quality .
