Badri Zolfaghari

Badri Zolfaghari is a Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and an Associate of the Allan Gray Centre for Values-Based Leadership at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, where she also serves as Programme Director of the PhD in Business Administration. Her research explores how individuals and organizations navigate uncertainty, with a particular focus on trust, entrepreneurship, organizational change, and meaningful work. She is particularly interested in how culture shapes organizational processes and social evaluations in contexts marked by resource constraints and institutional complexity, especially in the Global South. Her work has been published in leading international journals and edited volumes, and she collaborates with scholars across Africa, Europe, and beyond. Through her research and teaching, she aims to develop contextually grounded theories that contribute to both management scholarship and practice.
