Avianto Amri

Dr. Avianto Amri is a specialist in humanitarian response and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), with over 18 years of experience and a strong focus on at-risk groups such as children and women. He holds a PhD from Macquarie University, Australia, where he developed innovative tools to strengthen household preparedness by empowering children to influence family resilience. He is the Co-founder and CEO of PREDIKT, a social enterprise that designs creative educational materials for disaster preparedness. Dr. Amri has extensive experience across Asia and the Pacific, supporting governments, UN agencies, ASEAN, IFRC, ICVA, and both international and local CSOs through research, evaluations, and capacity-building initiatives. He serves as the Chairperson of the Indonesian Disaster Management Society (MPBI) and is the Sphere Country Focal Point for Indonesia, representing globally recognized humanitarian standards. He is currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
