Austin Choi-Fitzpatrick

Austin Choi-Fitzpatrick (PhD) is an author, educator, and speaker. His work focuses on politics, culture, technology, and social change. His books include Connective Creativity (Cambridge 2024), Wicked Problems (Oxford 2022), The Good Drone (MIT Press, 2020) and What Slaveholders Think (Columbia, 2017), shorter pieces in Slate, Al Jazeera, the Guardian, Aeon, and HuffPo, as well as commentary on BBC, NBC, and Fox News. At the University of San Diego he currently serves as Associate Provost for Academic Strategy and Growth, Faculty Director of the Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Professor at the Kroc School of Peace. He is currently Scholar in Residence at the Aspen Institute's Global Leadership Network, and previously held fellowships at Harvard and Yale.
