I am an experienced, innovative, higher educator/leader with proven expertise in curriculum design and technology integration in teaching and professional learning. Trained in the Sciences, and now firmly established in the specialist area of Educational Technology & Development, I work across disciplines and have led a diverse range of contemporary, small to large, educational design and capacity-building projects. Examples include: Massive, Open, Online Courses (MOOCs), simulations/scenarios, postgraduate qualifications for tertiary teachers and micro-learning for working professionals. For my doctoral research, I investigated networked capacity development for teaching with technologies. My on-going research focus is on inclusive curriculum design strategies, including the integration of artificial intelligence, building on previous work in digital citizenship, simulations and networked capacity development.
