Ashleigh Rich is a Canada- and U.S.- based social epidemiologist, with a research program focused on HIV, sex/gender and LGBTQ2S+ populations. She has 15 years of diverse professional experience in academic health research settings, as well as working with community-based organizations centered on LGBTQ2S+ health equity. Ashleigh is currently a PhD candidate in the School of Population & Public Health, in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, from which she also holds a Master of Public Health degree. She is a Canadian Institutes of Health Research Banting & Best Doctoral Scholar, a UBC Friedman Award holder, and a researcher with the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS.
