Ashish Nanda is a Research Fellow at the Deakin Cyber Research and Innovation Centre, Deakin University. His research focuses on cybersecurity, authentication technologies, digital identity, and usable security. He has contributed to national projects funded by the Cyber Security CRC, including work on multi-factor authentication, privacy-preserving digital credential wallets, and ambient intelligence-based continuous authentication systems.

He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney and has published widely in cybersecurity, IoT security, and cyber risk quantification. Ashish has also contributed to public discourse on cybersecurity through articles in The Conversation and interviews with SBS News, The Guardian, and The Feed.
