Asher is a postdoctoral research fellow in AI, Trust and Security at the University of Manchester. He previously worked at the University of Cambridge's Centre for the Future of Intelligence and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He completed his PhD, which was an intellectual history of Facebook/Meta, at the LSE in 2025.
