Dr Ash Watson is sociologist at UNSW Sydney. She is a Scientia Fellow and Senior Lecturer based in the Centre for Social Research in Health.

Her research explores the social impacts of technology. She is interested in the gap between the promise and the reality of emerging tech like AI. She studies digital change as a people problem, with a focus on issues of social inequality and belonging.
