Arman Pili

Arman did his PhD at Monash University (January 2024). His research interest is in developing statistically robust and scientifically defensible tools that can help decision-makers in conserving biodiversity globally.

He is currently a research associate at the Conservation Science Group in the Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge. He is also a junior associate editor at the Journal of Applied Ecology, a research affiliate at Monash University, and a science consultant at the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity.

On his off times, Arman enjoys watching films on war, history, biography, and societal issues, painting miniatures, and world-building his next Dungeons & Dragons campaign. He also dances Salsa every Thursday and Saturday,

Arman aspires to lead his own lab at a humble and progressive university.
