Archie Belfield is a final-year PhD researcher at the University of Birmingham. Under the supervision of Professor Leigh Breen, Archie’s PhD thesis investigates age- and obesity-related skeletal muscle deterioration, with a focus on lifestyle interventions to mitigate these effects. Archie has published findings from his PhD research in the journal Age and Ageing and presented ongoing research at national and international conferences.
