Arash Beidollahkhani is a Research Fellow at the Global Development Institute, University of Manchester, as well as at the Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO) in Berlin, Germany. Beidollahkhani is an interdisciplinary political scientist whose research focuses on the transformation of authoritarian governance in non-Western contexts, particularly the Middle East and Central Asia. His work examines authoritarian resilience, emerging neo-authoritarian models, non-democratic institutions, and state–society relations in post-conflict and transitional settings.
