Anthony Sandre

Dr. Sandre (he/him) is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at McMaster University with additional training in Vascular Medicine. Dr. Sandre holds a Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) from Maastricht University (2025), and a Master of Science in Global Health from McMaster University (2015). Dr. Sandre’s academic interests include curriculum analysis through a critical lens, with a particular focus on the inclusion of gender diversity. His work explores how medical education can better address the needs of minority groups by identifying and challenging structural gaps in current teaching practices.
