Anthony Jimenez

Anthony Jimenez is an Associate Professor and medical sociologists from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Born and raised in El Paso, Texas along the US-Mexico border, Anthony's interdisciplinary research centers on border imperialism and intersections between immigration and health care. His work has been supported by the Ford Foundation and appears in journals like Social Science & Medicine, the Journal of Ethnic & Migration Studies, and the Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health. As an activist-scholar, Anthony is committed to the aim of understanding and advancing efforts toward health justice.
