My research is focused on how we can use neuroscience to better understand complex, conflicting, and uncertain feelings. These inherently hard to to describe experiences are important to many real-world issues, and my work aims to pave a path forward for using affective neuroscience to provide unique insights into media use, social relationships, mental health, artificial intelligence, and technology.
