Anthony Ellis is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Lincoln, UK. He is a critical criminologist who utilises qualitative research methods to study individuals and groups involved in criminal and deviant behaviour.
Anthony's work tends to address issues of gender, social class and their relationship with crime. He is the author of award winning book Men, Masculinities and Violence: an ethnographic study (Routledge 2016). He is also co-author of Researching the Covid-19 Pandemic (Bristol Policy 2021) and Lockdown: Social Harm in the Covid Era (Palgrave Macmillan 2021).
