Associate Professor Anthony Brien is an expert in the area human capital, strategy, and change management in the hotel and tourism sector. Before joining the university sector, he worked in the international hotel industry. He serves on several boards related to the tourism industry, including previous appointments to the Institute of Hospitality in London, Venture Timaru, a local government Economic Development and Promotions Organisation, and currently the Mackenzie Tourism Industry Association.
He is a Visiting Professor at the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy - Les Roches.
