Dr Anthea Katelaris is a public health physician and Conjoint Senior Lecturer in the School of Population Health, UNSW Sydney, on Bidjigal country.
She has expertise in communicable disease control, outbreak investigation, surveillance, immunisation programs, and emergency response. She combines practice as a public health physician with technical skills in field epidemiology, in order to contribute to communicable disease control activities in Australia and the region.
She trained through the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (AFPHM) and at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and completed field epidemiology training through the ANU Masters of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) program.
