Annie Grace Kraehe

(she/her)

I am a PhD Candidate at the Australian National University and Flinders University. My research focuses on using stick-nest rat (Leporillus conditor) middens to reconstruct palaeoecological conditions of the Australian Pleistocene, leveraging modern computational tools to maximise their value as proxies for ancient ecosystems.

I completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) with a major in Ecology and Botany at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2018. I then pursued an Honours degree in Ecology at the same university under the supervision of Kathryn Hill, graduating in 2020 with a thesis titled The Extant Ecologies of Stick Nest Rats on Reevesby Island and Their Applications to Fossil Analysis.
