Annette Henry

Annette Henry is a Professor Emerita in the Department of Language and Literacy Education and cross-appointed to the Social Justice Institute. She is the recipient of several academic awards, including Canadian Association of University Teachers Equity Award, Outstanding Contributions to Gender Equity Award from the American Educational Research Association as well as awards from the community such as the Legacy Award from the National Congress of Black Women’s Foundation and 100 Outstanding Black Women honoree, and the Carol McCrealock Memorial award from Canadian Association for the Study of Women in Education.
