(she/ her)

I am a doctoral student at the School of Medicine, University of Limerick based in the WHO Collaborating Centre for Participatory Health Research with Refugees and Migrants and the Participatory Health Research Unit, UL. My PhD research focuses on health inequalities experienced by refugees and migrants, with particular attention to the barriers that limit the routine use of interpreters in primary care for people with limited English language proficiency.
I have over 20 years’ experience working in the NGO sector in Ireland and currently work in HSE Social Inclusion, providing health supports to refugees, migrants people experiencing homelessess and Roma communities.
