Anne C Pickering

Dr Pickering is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Senior Lecturer at the Thomas More Law School of the Australian Catholic University, teaching courses in property law, and legal ethics and professional responsibility. Prior to joining academia, she was a solicitor with experience in private legal practice, as well as in professional development, policy, and law reform. Her main research focuses on law reform — she is interested in interdisciplinary research initiatives and projects that investigate current challenges that intersect with property law and regimes, sustainability, climate resilience, pluralism, and development. She has a keen interest in modern approaches to legal education and wellbeing of the legal profession.
