Annalisa Bracco, Ph.D., is a senior researcher at CMCC@Milan (Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change) and a professor in ocean and climate dynamics affiliated with the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech. Her group’s research revolves around climate modes of variability, multiscale dynamics of geophysical flows and their interactions with biological and chemical tracers. The work is intrinsically interdisciplinary and uses climate and ocean models and data science tools to investigate physical drivers in natural systems.
