• Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Child Mental Health, Black Dog Institute, UNSW

My research expertise focuses on improving the mental health of children and adolescents and understanding why some young people are resilient and able to withstand adversity, while others are at risk of developing anxiety and depression. I am interested in applying insights from cognitive psychology and neuroscience to develop evidence-based digital interventions that improve mental health, in particular for children in rural and remote communities in Australia and globally.

Prior to starting at the Black Dog Institute, I was awarded a PhD in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford in the Oxford Centre for Emotions and Affective Neuroscience. I have also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and the University of New South Wales.
