Dr Anna Lawrenson is located in the Museum and Heritage Studies program at the University of Sydney, Australia. Her research considers how the history, funding and administration of museums and galleries shapes their approach to public engagement. She publishes in academic journals including Museum Management and Curatorship and Museums and Society and has co-authored an important monograph on blockbuster exhibitions in Australian museums and galleries (Routledge: 2019) with Dr Chiara O'Reilly.
