I have been in Education for the past thirty years, first as a high school teacher, then lecturer at Vista University, thereafter lecturer at the University of Pretoria, and since 2012 I have been working at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. My research interests are language acquisition, pre-service teacher training and service-learning.
