Anna Dimitrova is Full Professor of International Affairs at the Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and International Business at ESSCA School of Management (Paris). She is also a researcher in International Business and Geopolitics at the EU*Asia Institute (also at ESSCA), as well as a visiting professor at CIFE (Centre International de Formation Européeenne) - the European Institute. She teaches both under-graduate and post-graduate courses, namely International Relations and Geopolitics, International Trade, International Business, Country Risk Management, and others. Her research is at the intersection of International Business and Political Studies with a specific focus on firm non-market strategies in conflict zones and the impact of political risk on firm location choice. Her research has been published in numerous academic journals including the Journal of World Business, International Business Review, Multinational Business Review, Management Decision, Management Learning, New Political Economy, Policy Studies, L'Europe en formation, and others. She has been awarded twice the Academy of International Business (AIB) Best Reviewer Award in 2020 and 2023. She is also the author of several policy papers including “The State of the Transatlantic Relationship in the Trump Era” published by Fondation Robert Schuman.
