- Professor of Politics and Research Methods, University of Glasgow
Anja Neundorf is a Professor of Politics at the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Glasgow. She previously held a position at the University of Nottingham (2013-2019) and a Post-doctoral Prize Research Fellowship in political science at Nuffield College, University of Oxford (2010-2012). She received her PhD from the University of Essex in 2010.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of political behaviour, comparative politics, and research methods. Generally, her research applies advanced statistical methods to substantially important research questions with the aim of testing and refining theories of political socialisation, political attitudes, and electoral choice. Thereby the focus is on the question how individuals form and retain these attitudes and identities over time and across different political systems.
Her research has been published in, among others, the Journal of Politics, British Journal of Political science, Public Opinion Quarterly, Social Forces, and Party Politics.
