Dr Angus Mitchell is a marine ecologist based within the University of Adelaide’s School of Biological Sciences. He holds an Honours degree in Marine Biology and completed his PhD in 2023 on the tropicalisation of temperate fish communities. Angus’ multidisciplinary research investigates how climate change is rapidly reshaping fish ecology—from genes to ecosystems—and the pathways through which fishes can adapt to a changing ocean.
