In 2023, I started the PhD program at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy. The working title of my dissertation is: "Don't put all your eggplants in one basket: Imported fruits and vegetables as Canada's food system vulnerability."

I was born in rural Manitoba, but really came of age in rural Saskatchewan. Although the city is not my favourite place, I am proud to call myself an urban farmer, with 1,500 square feet of vegetable garden. I live in Regina, Saskatchewan.
