Angela Difeng Wu

(she/her)

I am a public health researcher with expertise in applying psychological and anthropological insights to health policy. My work focuses on understanding human behaviour in the context of "unhealthy" behaviours, particularly smoking, and designing interventions to promote cessation. I am part of the Oxford Tobacco Addiction Group and the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, with projects spanning smoking cessation in social housing and systematic reviews of vaping for quitting smoking. I hold a DPhil in Primary Health Care from Oxford, where my research explored smoking cessation and its impact on cardiovascular and mental health outcomes.
