- Associate Professor at The Hans Christian Andersen Centre, Principal Investigator of "Fairy Tales and Stories – The Digital Manuscript Edition", University of Southern Denmark
As a literary scholar specializing in Hans Christian Andersen’s authorship, my most significant contribution has been introducing and applying systematic genetic manuscript studies - grounded in the field of Genetic Criticism - to Danish literary scholarship, particularly Andersen studies. This research area began with my PhD project and has since developed through several publications, reaching its widest impact with the Digital Scientific Edition (DSE) "Hans Christian Andersen’s Fairy Tales and Stories – The Digital Manuscript Edition" of which I am PI. This project sets international standards in manuscript studies and unites Denmark’s leading experts in philology and Andersen's authorship. In addition, I have contributed to diverse thematic research on Andersen’s authorship,
including co-editing anthologies on Andersen.
